The rain made it too cold to eat in without a sweater, so we decided to take it out. They got our order changed to take out and had it ready promptly. The food is always good!
The food was not good. Most of the toast was undercooked, the eggs weren't fully scrambled, and the hashbrowns were burnt. The biscuit was the only good thing I had, and that was smothered in warm jelly.The service was attrocious. It was obvious the server had no idea what she was doing and the cook didn't seem to understand what we had ordered. Our food came out slow, was handed to the wrong person, and we had to remind them of what we ordered multiple times.The atmosphere was worse than any other waffle house I've been to, and I've been to a lot. There were ants and flies everywhere, old food still piled on tables, and giant spots of syrup drying to the booths. Not to mention the guy who started power washing the floor the second we sat down.
Honestly irritated. Ordered my food online said it would be ready by 10:13 … never got a confirmation like they usually do saying that it was ready so I finally went in at 10:50 because I know they be busy so expected my food to still be getting cooked or something…WRONG was not a lot of people in there . I walked in to some ice cold food according to the employee sitting down eating “ it’s been sitting there “ … okay so why didn’t I get any kind of confirmation? Walked out of Waffle House with ice cold food . And no I’m not over exaggerating … food was cold . They usually send a message by the way. This is like my third time eating here and it’s only when I’m not feeling too well. Promise I won’t be back . Nobody attempted to accommodate me either . And no I was not pulling up at 10:13 they never have your food ready on time from experience and testimonials!

Our waiter was not friendly at all and the wait time to receive service was horrible ! The waiters were yelling at each other about who was to wait on our table . I use to come here all the time but now they have become rude and the restaurants cleanliness has deteriorated ( they have a B from the health inspection) The food was not horrible and that is the only reason I gave 2 stars . I will NOT be returning to this location .
It was a late night experience and the environment was about as controlled as could be, yet the crowd was too much for the staff to control, prep food and try and clean and maintain the restaurant. To no fault of their own but the customers around us made it difficult to truly enjoy our time.
